Our retreats take place at Magnolia Cottage in Lancaster, PA, which overlooks 70+ acres of preserved farmland. There is space to rest and restore on long walks through farmland or sitting on the wraparound porch surrounded by cornfields.
It is nearly impossible to grow in the awareness of God's love for us unless we spend a great deal of time in solitude and silence. We simply must escape the noise of this world - the tweets, the constant cycle of politics, and the tidal wave of information attempting to tell us who we are. Or who we ought to be.

Individual Advent Retreat
December 1st - 6th, 2024 (join for one night or several)

Advent, which means “arrival,” is a season of expectant waiting and preparation for the arrival of the infant Jesus. With his Annunication to Mary, God forever alters the life of one woman, but also the life of all creation. In Mary’s simple words of surrender to what God says about her - that she was favored by God, that she would give birth to the Christ Child - she gives herself, body and soul, to God’s creative purpose.
Join us at Magnolia Cottage for a time of retreat in contemplation of Christ's coming and what it could look like to surrender to God’s creative purpose in YOUR life.
Your Advent RETREAT is individualized. Join us for one night or several. An Advent Retreat Guide with recorded mediations is available for purchase and you can schedule a spiritual direction session. A simple breakfast and lunch is provided. Dinner is on your own. (A kitchen is available and Lancaster has many great restaurants.)

The event will be hosted by Janine Rohrer an experienced spiritual director, ministry leader, and co-founder of The Stillness Collective. Janine grew up in the countryside of Lancaster County.
She looks forward to welcoming you to Magnolia Cottage for retreat, stillness, and enjoyment of nature.

(rooms can be individual or shared by 2 people - if shared by 2 people and additional meal cost of $50 per day will be added for additional guest)
Option A: King Size Bed in a Large Private Room with private en suite bathroom - $138 per night
Option B: Private King Size bed (can transition to 2 Twin XL Beds), with desk, attached Jack and Jill bathroom - $129 per night
Option C: Private King Size bed (can transition to 2 Twin XL Beds),attached Jack and Jill bathroom - $120 per night
Option D: Room with double bed and single bed - hallway bathroom shared with one other room - $118 per night
Option E: 2 Twin XL Beds (can transition to King Size bed) - hallway bathroom shared with one other room - $108 per night
Retreat Guide (including recorded guided meditations): $30
Transportation (to and from Lancaster Amtrak station): $30
Spiritual Direction: $70 per session
Online registration is for a $100 deposit. Full cost will be invoiced separately.
